Mildura WWTP leaks fixed with Flex Seal Utility Sealant®
Fitt Resources were engaged by Mildura Council to repair leaking joints between precast concrete panels on their wastewater trement plant carousel.
Flex Seal Utility Sealant® was selected by Fitt Resources to seal the joints for it’s strength, flexibility and ease of application.
After exposing the underground joints using hydro excavation, active leaks were sealed using patch n plug and Chimney Patch & Repair (CPR).
Once the active leaks were stopped, damaged concrete sections and voids were repaired with Chimney Patch & Repair (CPR) while smaller gaps were filled with inert backer rod prior to application of the Flex Seal Primer.
The final coat of Flex Seal Utility Sealant® was then applied sealing the joints with it’s distinctive green finish.
