Trickle Filter Repair using Flex Seal Utility Sealant®

The trickle filters at a NSW sewerage treatment plant were in a deteriorated condition with significant leaks, vertical cracks, corrosion and degradation of the concrete.

FITT Resources were engaged by council to rehabilitate the trickle filters and are certified Flex Seal Utility Sealant® applicators with strong experience in the use and application of Flex Seal Utility Sealant® having successfully sealed and rehabilitated a large number of manholes and pump stations.

Flex Seal Utility Sealant® is ideal for sealing concrete structures due to it’s superior strength and flexibility with 800% elongation as well as its resistance to hydrogen sulphide corrosion.

The project was successfully delivered within the timeframe and budget, sealing the leaks and cost effectively extending the service life of the trickle filters.
